7 Magic Islands having a principal place of business at Fallskärmsvägen 18, 175 69 Järfälla, Sweden (hereinafter, referred to as “7 Magic Islands”, “we”, “us”, “our”) created this Privacy Policy to ensure that children have a safe online experience and inform parents that the privacy rights of their children are respected when using 7 Magic Islands’ products, mobile applications, services and websites, including the website http://www.7magicislands.com (collectively, the “Services”).

7 Magic Islands takes care that the Services are suitable for children. Our data processing practices comply with or exceed the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). 7 Magic Islands provides parents and children with the right to exercise control over the collection and use of children’s personal information.

7 Magic Islands does not ask the users of the Services to disclose more personal information than is reasonably necessary for them to receive the requested Services.

1. General

1.1 This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, and disclosure of personal information about persons under the age of 13 collected by 7 Magic Islands in relation to the Services.

1.2 The term “parents” in this Children’s Privacy Policy refers to parents and legal guardians. The term “children” in this Children’s Privacy Policy refers to persons under the age of 13.

1.3 COPPA requires that 7 Magic Islands informs parents and legal guardians about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from children. COPPA also imposes an obligation on us to obtain the consent of parents in order to collect, process, and disclose certain personal information about children.

1.4 By using the Services, the users of the Services consent to this Children’s Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Children’s Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

2. Types of collected information

2.1 7 Magic Islands collects personal information about children through the Services.

2.2 Children can use the Services without any personal information being collected. 7 Magic Islands does not collect personal information from children unless they sign up for a subscription.

2.3 The only information that 7 Magic Islands may collect from children is a child's first name, child's e-mail address, parent’s email address, and child's birth date. We collect birth dates to validate the ages of our guests, including children.

2.4 As a part of the Services, 7 Magic Islands organizes and sponsors various contests. Children are not allowed to participate in these contests. 7 Magic Islands does not use the contests to collect, process, or disclose personal data of children.

2.5 7 Magic Islands does not collect personal data that identifies the precise geographic location of the users of the Services.

2.6 7 Magic Islands allows companies providing web analytics services to access anonymous data (e.g. IP address or device ID) related to users of the Services to help us optimize the Services. Such companies use the anonymous data solely on their behalf. They do not collect and share with third parties personal information related to the users of the Services. The companies providing web analytics services may share with third parties anonymous data in aggregated form.

3. The purpose of collection

3.1 We may use the personal information that we collect from a child to determine whether he or she is eligible to use the Services, to obtain consent from his or her parent to use the Services, to send newsletters, and to provide content that we believe that the child may be interested in.

4. Sharing personal information with third parties

4.1 7 Magic Islands does not share children’s personal information with third parties.

5. Notification and obtaining consent from parents for the collection of information from their kids

5.1 We use reasonable efforts to ensure that, before we collect any personal information from a child, the child’s parent receives notice of and consents to our information practices. As a parent, you should know that, by using the Services, children under the age of 13 may sign up for subscription services that involve the collection or use of children’s personal information.

5.2 If your child is under age of 13, we must have a ”verifiable parental consent” before we collect and use your child’s personal information. Parents can provide verifiable consent through the use of the “email plus” mechanism. The “email plus” mechanism is described in Section 5.3.

5.3 We send parents an e-mail when their children sign up for a subscription by using the Services and we provide parents 48 hours to refuse their children's registration. The e-mail contains a direct notice of our information practices and an opportunity to opt out. If the parent refuses to allow the child to sign up for a subscription, we delete child's information from our database. If the parent allows the child to sign up for a subscription or we do not hear back from the parent within the aforementioned 48 hours period, we will send the parent a confirmatory message informing her/him that we will allow the child to sign up for a subscription. In this confirmatory message, we will provide the parent with all the original information contained in the direct notice and inform the parent that he or she can revoke the consent. In the confirmatory message, we will also instruct the parent on how he or she may revoke the consent.

5.4 At any time parents can refuse to permit us to collect further personal information from their child and can request that any personal information we have collected be deleted from our records.

5.5 A parent can contact our customer service department to access, change, or delete the personal information that we have collected from his or her child by sending an e-mail to info@7magicislands.com. Please include the child's member name and the parent's e-mail address in the e-mail so that we can better assist you with your inquiry or request.

5.6 In order to refuse to permit us to collect further personal information from their child, a parent can contact our customer service department to or send an e-mail to info@7magicislands.com.

6. Cookies

6.1 7 Magic Islands does not use cookies to store information about your actions or choices. Please note that our advertising partners may set and access cookies when you use the Services. The data collected by cookies is anonymous. This data allows our advertising partners to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of interest to you. This Children’s Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by our advertising partners or other advertisers.

7. Links to other websites

7.1 The Services may include links to websites offered by third parties. Please note that such websites have separate and independent privacy policies. Therefore, 7 Magic Islands is not responsible or liable for the content and activities of websites offered by third parties.

7.2 7 The Services may contain links to Social Media (e.g. Facebook and Twitter) where the children are not allowed to enter. Such links are placed only in a special areas that are designed for parents.

8. Advertising

8.1 All ads placed by 7 Magic Islands and viewable by using the Services are appropriate for children.

8.2 We require from our advertising partners to place ads that are appropriate for children.

9. Amazon

9.1 7 Magic Islands is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for websites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

9.2 7 Magic Islands is a participant in the Amazon Europe S.à.r.l. Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.co.uk.

11. Notification of parents for changes of our Children’s Privacy Policy

11.1 We may amend our Children's Privacy Policy at any time. We will provide parents with a notice by e-mail of any material changes in the way we intend to collect, use, and/or share children' personal information. Please note that, at all times, parents should update their personal information to provide us current e-mail addresses. We will apply material changes in our Children's Privacy Policy only in conformance with applicable law.
